What you don’t know about UCG
In modern electronic marketing, companies and brand owners resort to searching for innovative marketing methods and strategies that increase their sales and create loyalty between them and the target group of customers.
The simplest example of this is what Chipsy Company recently did in its advertising campaign (Share the Laugh), relying primarily on customers to photograph themselves with Chipsy and scan the code to reveal the sound of the laugh out loud.
This is known as user generated content, or user-generated content, which aims to influence the purchasing decisions of new users and create a state of loyalty between them and their current customers.
Types of user generated content
1- Pictures and videos on social media platforms
2- User reviews
3- Nominations on social media groups
4- Hashtags
